Welcome to Shabdrang

A festival of words, for children and their families

Shabdrang 2026 is no longer only a competition. It is an English, Literacy and Literary Festival with an Expo where you can see how children learn to read, write, publish and reflect.

Last year about 2,500 people came to celebrate language and creative expression with us. This year we are growing, and we would love you to see, join in and celebrate the power of expression.

New this year: students and parents can take part together.
